Four Dyess B-1Bs are currently deployed to Fairford. On 12 June two of them visited Constanta, returning on the same day. Fine-looking aircraft, with VERY noisy afterburners. The support team had already risen early to assemble for a 7.00am group photo. 85-0064 (nearest) & 86-0103 B-1B Lancer by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 86-0105 B-1B Lancer by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 86-0105 B-1B Lancer by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 86-0125 (nearest) & 86-0103 B-1B Lancer by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 86-0125 B-1B Lancer by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 85-0064 B-1B Lancer by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 86-0125 B-1B Lancer by Dan Sprague, on Flickr 86-0125 B-1B Lancer by Dan Sprague, on Flickr

Two of them came over the house yesterday, and yes, they are quite noisy, even without the afterburners. I assume they had come out of Lakenheath or Mildenhall, since they were still quite low. No trace of them on FR24 or ADSB though...

Only ones flying here yesterday were SPICY11/12 Fairford to Lulea, Sweden Not all of the bones are ADS-B equipped but 86-0105 is ...though it wasn't transmitting a callsign via ADS-B. Didn't listen to them refuelling so have no idea whether that was 11 or 12.
