It has been done before and I do believe that you just have! All we ask is that you charge no more than what you paid. Everyone here is giving freely of their time to pass information and reports on for others, so we don't like it when someone wishes to make money for profit or gain through the Forum. The last time admin got 'hot under the collar' was over a member making money from the forum was due to him promoting his own video clips for which he received payment. Also we didn't like the commentary hyperbole (second time today I've used that word, likely the second time in ten years) mind you it is only because I need to think of how to spell exaggeration (thanks spell-checker).
Anyone with interest in the ticket being offered, should PM "Iainball" direct. Never exchange personal details as public posts.
The forum 'rule of thumb' on the matter is that advertising as a service to members is only permitted if there is no intention of making money out of the deal. There are slight exceptions such as notices of the availability of a new book by the author when there is likely to be an interest in the title by members. There are a number of author/researchers who freely post knowledge and images here and whose books are of interest to members, so it is only right that we should pass-on details of a new title. Another exception is posting 'flyers' or notices for aviation events which charge admission. Short question, far too long an answer.
