For the 60's these are wonderful colour full photos. You must have been using a Hasselblad or the like for that quality while I was struggling with my Box Brownie. Beemer.

Thanks for the favourable comments.
I used one of those ordinary Praktica cameras which you could buy affordably at Dixons, with Kodak or Agfa film. I also had, in fact still have, a Weston Light meter to supplement the built in one on the camera. I found the camera extremely reliable, and the wide angle lens which I acquired in 1967 truly invaluable.
I have stored the slides in good conditions away from damp and dust, so that helps. I have thousands of them so I am trying to get them all digitised before ........!!!
My new Epsom V600 scanner, the use of Photoshop and Paint.net and the ever helpful Mike (radiostaion) all play a part.
Trying to sneak into my study and do a few each day, between other tasks assigned on the daily list.
I am enjoying it all. I hope others do too.

Having 'commandeered' Ron's delightful Farnborough 1964 thread with posts of Don Stephen's b&w photos, I'm about to do so here too. Nothing quite so colourful or exotic as Ron's set, as these are mostly of the flight and landing at Heathrow in a British Eagle Viscount 12th September 1964, then those aircraft seen while taxiing and from the Central area buildings with the final ones from under the approach, likely while returning from Farnborough for the flight home. Cloudscapes from a rear seat in a British Eagle Viscount while in the cruise from Liverpool to London Air Port. On approach over suburban London, then over a factory while on finals for Heathrow Think these are in the right sequence as the Viscount rolls down the runway to exit for the central terminal. At the time ordinary everyday aircraft, an Ambassador, Douglas DC-6/7 and an Avro York parked out towards the airport boundary. Olympic Airways Comet 4B G-APZM, presumably seen while deplaning from the Viscount. The unintended visual odd effect is the device out near the wing-tip to disperse static build-up merging with the top a very tall lighting pole. BOAC Comet 4 and a BKS Bristol Britannia 102, likely seen from inside Queen's Building while heading for the exit. A pair of Boeing 707s of Pan American and one from BOAC. East African Airways Corporation Comet 4 5X-AAO and a BOAC Boeing 707. Compare with the photo above, as the B.O.A.C. title is now in gold to the rear of the front door on the wide section of cheat-line a modification to the colour scheme brought in with the arrival of the Super VC-10s(?), however the thin line above the main cheatline could show that this was one of the few Boeing 707s that were involved in the tie-up with Cunard-BOAC, but not been fully repainted since the deal ended. Anyone know better - it was a very long time ago!! BOAC Comet 4 G-APDA A BEA Vickers Vanguard landing and a further BOAC Comet 4, either G-APDK or G-APDN.
