I opened another box marked 1965 and discovered these.
SU-AKN was one of two bought by British Eagle. This one became G-ATDR. From what I read elsewhere recently, these machines had been stored in the open for a long time, and had to be fumigated on arrival. Note the sign on the door which says "Do Not Open" It eventually emerged from the hangar with four new more powerful darts.

G-APID. A DC-4 in Dan Air Titles. Quite rare I think

and G-ASPN which we have seen before, now in Invicta Colours:-

New cousin Argonaut, G-ALHS, this time in British Midland Colours:-

D-ANUN was seen also at Hannover on the MSAE Trip, the year before:-

G-AMOO a more regular Viscount on the apron. I am posting this because I like Viscounts, especially British Eagle ones.

And now for a medley of Britannias in a glorious setting. According to my notes all taken on 12th May 1965 but I wonder if that's really true. I left in all the paraphernalia in here. I think it goes to show what a great experience we all had. I wonder if the guys with the red hats know who they are and if so, can they check the dates.
Edit. Thanks to data collected by Phil Butler and provided via Brian Jones I know recall the two Brtiannia Brits, and two Argonauts were outbound to Milan with football supporters on 12th, the Brits returning 13th. No info on the Argonauts. The Dan Air flew to Milan 11th returning 13th.
