I was discussing with a colleague the other day, what ever became of the very familiar blue and white striped AN-26B of Edwin Air Cargo and Bright Flight (before the blue and white stripes were applied). It was originally to start freight services to the Isle of Man but never got off the starting blocks. The discussion started as I can not trace it any where, but, Kenny Airbus, who is in Girona for a family wedding thinks he saw it parked there as they landed. Looking back at old posts and I mentioned that I had seen a photo of it taken at Girona about 2018/19. Any one seen it at Girona or any where else lately as the last photo I took was December 2018. Regards Beemer. LZ-FLL An26 Edwin Air Cargo

The day-to-day movements of LZ-FLL of Edwin Air Cargo are recorded in a thread: derbosoft.proboards.com/thread/16960/soviet-designed-types-liverpool-airportSeveral posts down under 'Antonov AN-24 & 26 Visits' and in the year 2018. Serves as a reminder that I need to split-up the Antonov (and Ilyushin and Tupolev) designs into shorter threads and update the information again to include the past 4 years. Many images have already been added or replaced by 'Beemer' and I need to find and post older images to 'push back' the coverage. All takes time, although the greater majority of 'western' types that have JLA visit reviews threads have been updated where necessary and watermarked images replaced over the past six months. I'm getting there slowly! The thread of comments made at the time (no images): derbosoft.proboards.com/thread/29426/edwin-air-cargoAn explanation as to why the name 'Edwin' triggered a response from those around in MAS in the 70s and 80s: derbosoft.proboards.com/thread/29477/respectful-memories-liverpool-spotters-past
