So on our recent journey down to a wedding in Somerset I very kindly offered my wife that we could stop off for a couple of days in Stratford on the way down. Despite being married for 40+ years she still hasn't worked out that most places where we stop tend to have a reason. So this time imagine her surprise when I told her that as a special treat I had tickets for the BHMM. Despite her initial reluctance she did however admit at the end that she really enjoyed it and it wasn't as bad as she thought it would be. I thought it is a fantastic place, easy to spend a day there. To start in the main museum is the history really of cars from the beginning. Lots of prototypes and odd ball stuff, but lots to jog our ageing memories too. This is just a small selection of some of the stand out items, do go if you get the chance it is well worth it.
