FLAMINIO BERTONI MUSEUM AND ASI-BERTONE COLLECTION
(or alternatively spelt Flaminio Bertone and ASI-Bertoni on the same leaflet!)
(or alternatively spelt Flaminio Bertone and ASI-Bertoni on the same leaflet!)
A fair number of vehicles housed in small inter-connected rooms. Like the aircraft exhibits interpreted on information boards in both Italian and English. However I made no notes, so about the only ones I know are the BMW Mini and the 2CV. So no researched, helpful captions from me on this post. The aircraft on the Volandia Museum site are covered on: derbosoft.proboards.com/thread/43815/volandia-aviation-museum-malpensa-september
The Volandia Museum site guide describes these sections as:
FLAMINIO BERTONI MUSEUM: An exhibition entirely dedicated to the artist and automotive designer that sculpted the world-renowned Citroën DS. His sketches, sculptures and studies are on display together with his cars.
ASI - BERTONE COLLECTION: More than 70 cars created by the famous Carrozzeria Bertone, among which are the Lamborghini Miura and Countach, the Lancia Stratos, the Fiat X19 and the Alfa Romeo and Jaguar prototypes deserve a particular mention.
I've numbered the photos should anyone wish to display their automobile recognition knowledge, and in doing so expose my lack of such knowledge!
(1) In the main museum, located with some of the WW I era aircraft is this 'Autocarro De Vecchi & C. Tipo D'.
(2) Also in the aviation pavilions, this one and the next were positioned close to the Douglas Dakota.
(3) The notice says 'Vietato Salire E Toccare le Macchine Esposte', which Google translates as: 'Climbing and Touching the Exposed Machines is Prohibited', which is another way of saying 'ladies, keep your husbands under control'.

(6) "Dear Santa, Please may I have one of these for Christmas. I've been a good boy all year".
(7) "Dear Santa, one of these might be more practical".
(8)"Dear Santa, please, not one of these!" (even though unlike the others, I might still be able to bend enough to get in)!

(12) I reckon if you drove the green one on to my patio and filled it with water, it would make a great mobile hot-tub!

THE OGLIARI TRANSPORT COLLECTION
Only noticed these as I was leaving the Volandia Museum, with no time to walk along the rows and examine. The Museum guide simply states: The Ogliari Transport Museum, a collection of locomotives, railway carriages, trams, buses and other vehicles that belonged to Prof. Francesco Ogliari, immersed in the woods of the Ticino Park.
