Finally got round to editing these photos from the middle of last year. I got a bit snap-happy, hence the delay in editing them.
I'd headed north to see 18 x A-10Cs passing through to take part in the Air Defender exercise, based in Germany. The Maryland ANG contingent went to Amari in Estonia, so I don't know whether they were involved in the exercise or on detachment. There were also loads of Air National Guard transport flights, some associated with the exercise. Best of all was a brief visit by a USN C-2 Greyhound, soon to be retired.
I got there early on the 5th. Six Idaho ANG A-10s had arrived the previous day and were lined up on the north side.
