Just done another batch of old negatives, the first time they have seen the light of day since taken. Elstree was a lovely place in 1970, closest airfield to home, and very relaxed atmosphere with complete access. It seemed to specialise in old Miles types, although the CAA 'glue ban' was about to hit hard. Beagles were another 'local' type, and the main Piper dealer produced plenty of new registrations. Thanks for posting these memories. Such a pity the Airedale did not have the time it needed to devolve into a real competitor to the others.
