We needed to be closer to it but a fence and a pond prevented us. A Kestrel on my 17,000th Forum post. Kestrel by Beemer328i, on Flickr

In its current form, this forum with Proboards as the host commenced in March 2009. So 15 years x 365 = 5475 days. 17,000 posts divided by 5475 days = an average posting rate of just over 3 posts per day every day for 15 years. Todays pat on the back is well deserved.
As Admin we can access a table that ranks every member by number of posts entered. As Viscount, I run a lackluster 2nd with just 6,557 posts, with Wardmanstuart not far behind, nipping at my ankles on 6,520, with Jet Dragon following at 5,176 posts. With 4000+ posts are LPL, Evoant, Marquis, AndyH, followed by Ametyst, Airbus A346, Biggles, Ian351 and Wino, all with 3,000+, although 2 of those have not posted for several years so are slipping down the charts.
In reality content is far more important than numbers. So I would like to take this opportunity to thank all, be it for a sole post, or into the several thousands, for their support and for the diverse range of interests and topics, ranging from up to the minute observations, to deep nostalgia, which when coupled with the great numbers of images daily all combine to make this a very interesting and active community. Thank you all.
