Another report from Cumbria 1. The lakes never cease to amaze me with their beauty.... 2. After going the wrong side of Great Howe on the first pass, this MC-130 looked like it was going to be high on the second, but a nice dip in front of the turn before pulling out in front of me resulted in this sequence 3. 4. 5. 6. Next up was a lone tucano.....I was starting to miss these as they were missing from my last 2 trips. Started videoing it, but then switched to stills as it got closer... 7. 8. Pair of GR4s characteristically low as they drop down onto Thirlmere from Dunmail 9. One sound I don't mind hearing over the silence..... 10. 11. 12. Second of the pair was a fully marked 31 SQN jet. Shutter speed dropped to 1/160 as he passed the dark slopes of Great Howe 13. But got back up to 1/250 against the red fields and trees 14. 15. Civil Eurocopter registered in Cockermouth 16. Finishing off with a couple of landscapes. Firstly golden hour....it's just a shame no traffic came through.... 17. Thirlmere Dusk .mic

8-)These are the most incredibly good photos---what quality and skill. Makes me yearn for a better camera but my fuji is only 2 years old and other calls are on the money at the moment. I especially like the scenic shots ,they set the tone really well and the high speed shots are as sharp as any I have ever seen. You must pan like an athlete and have A1 reflexes.LOL Well done that man. John

Great stuff Mic ...i am pleased to see they haven't scrapped all the Air Force! The background looks familiar, were you at Smaithwaite Banks for these?
Cheers

Great shots
G-MSPT is owned by M Sport who make rally cars in Cockermouth. They used to own I-RALY A119 Koala
I have driven over to it's base at Dovenby Hall but nothing can be seen from the outside
