I'm reliably informed that Aintree Radio will use 132.900 this year.

Mic-t-s,
Have a look way back on page 8 of 'Through the zone' for comments of location and coverage of April 2010 Aintree - there are 4 posts to examine, with logs and photos.
Yes, there is an excellent place outside the Aintree fence on public open-space, abeam very late finals, sun (if there is any) over the shoulder. The actual landing area though, is out of sight behind a hedge and garden fence. Can't remember exactly, but last year there were (I think) five of us there with cameras, and one without - all forum members.
I used Merseyrail - less than 10 minutes walk from Fazakerly Station. Initially on domestic roads, then across an unmanned rail crossing, through a short patch of scrub woodland beside house fencing, then out into an open paddock with stunted trees - much frequented by dog walkers and kids on bikes. The Police were around at times, but left us completely alone. I'll look up my Liverpool A-Z and OS map to post the directions proved to me by Ian531 & Barfleur last year, if requested to do so by PM.
PS the A/G frequency is that same as in 2009 and 2010.
