Hi all, not seen this publicised at all, apart from a message on milspotters!!!!! Went for a wander down to Pierhead today as I need the chopper myself, 12435. She is open to the public 1300-1600 today and Sunday, although I think she was closing at 1500 today as we got off! Here are a couple of images, hope this info is of use guys!!! John

Actually there was earlier mention on this forum.
Photogenix posted comment about the visit and the SD-3D/Sea King registration at 2010 hours on Friday evening 15th - only he did so on the daily 'EGGGP Movements' section, expaining that he did not know the best place to put non-airport 'Liverpool' information.

Anyone know what day and time she's leaving? Might be worth a walk down to Formby Point to watch her go.

Thanks very much gents. It's a good excuse to go for a walk even if she's not departing at that time!

There is space for 2 CH124's, when on board the right hand space would have held her, while the left hand space appeared to have a rescue dingy in it. Maybe you could see the left hand one open?
One of the crew said she will be going straight back to Canada, and then doing some fisheries protection work off the coast of Canada, but they will be embarking a second chopper then.......pity they didn't do that before visiting the pool!!! :-(

Thanks John that would explain its cloak of invisibility I could see the red dinghy, I did see it leave in the sea mist passing Formby.
