Excellent that Ron. The landing looked a little bit twitchy but is understandable as it was the first one. Well done to all concerned. Regards Beemer.

Hello Folks
Just watched the video, that landing looks very scary!
The fin and rudder is too small on the Mossie (and consequently also on F-WMOZ) and thats why they always used get the tail up quickly on the take off and did 'wheeler' landings which kept the rudder effective as long as possible. I remember RR299 was damaged at Chester when it was three pointed by a Hatfield TP (who will remain nameless!) then he promptly lost directional control and took to the weeds, nearly taking the gear off!
What markings are they going to paint it in? I wonder if its going to 'Legends' this year?
Cheers
Shaun

Hi Shaun, Thanks for your comments which I have transmitted to the pilots.
The choice of marking has not been decided. There are conflicting views.

Attached is a video of the final stages of the construction of the Mosquito .75. Its 23 minutes in duration, but well put together. The machine is painted in the colours of the Mossie flown by Max Guedj. About 16 minutes in, you can see Michel Bogaert make his first flight. The project was his inspiration and the team worked under his direction and enthusiasm for 20 years. (With his wife who "shared" the Champagne.) Its moments like these I feel so lucky to have found myself, completely by chance, hooked up into the flying community here in the west of France. Enjoy. www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgk9ka-pIVc&feature=youtu.be
