It's been reported that VLM are pulling out of MAN. I am very surprised seeing that was the only route from the North West to central London left after they pulled LPL. I would have thought there was sufficient business people on that route to, at least, give 2 flights a day. VLM were , I believe, at one time doing 9 rotation a day.

I think the simple answer is the train won. Branson must be loving it.

;D Perhaps time to return to LJLA on a reduced(thrice daily?) basis--or perhaps Eastern have that one in their sights?

Why?
Virgin trains also operate an enhanced service from Liverpool to London these days.
Forget it. It's a non-starter.

Whilst I too would like to see an operator serving LCY the rail improvements coupled with APD, LCY charges, security, time etc make this unlikely, particularly in the current economic conditions.
