Hi i have a question for our fluing members.. Ive flown to Amsterdam many times on easyJet.. and i was wondering where the KLM Fokker parks when it arrives... i have never noticed it.. Does it dock with the main terminal if so which pier.. ? or does it park with all the other little Fokkers, on the far side. thus needing a bus ride..to the arrivals.

From observation last week, it appeared that all the KLM 'little Fokkers', plus the ERJ-190s and a few French and German CRJs all park together, mostly outparked, all on the same apron area. I'm assuming that the Liverpool flights must park on there too. Presumably served by Pier B, the apron faces the Cargo apron on the south west side of the terminal complex, effectively on the opposite side/other end of the terminal from the near north facing EasyJet pier ie the other end of the sideways U-shaped terminal complex.
Neither the EasyJet or KLM Regional aprons can be seen from the roof gardens.

The Liverpool flights do indeed park on the remote stands mentioned by Viscount with bussing from both arrivals and departures. Being Amsterdam this is generally very well organised and efficient!

Yep, parks at KLM farm with all the other small regionals, bus ride it is. Watch out for the revolving doors into the terminal on alighting the bus! You have been warned!!

The KLM 'farm' is out of sight of the rest of terminal/piers.
There is a roof viewing area, taking in the central range of piers and bays - those used by most European Airlines, Transavia, plus KLM and Northwest long-haul. The short-haul KLM/Air France parking and some long-haul, plus EasyJet parking is out of sight. While clearly it depends on the winds, most (if not all) landings are out of sight of the viewing area, but the vast majority of departures are seen. The viewing area is free and extends for a distance along the terminal roof. There is a KLM Fokker 100 mounted on the roof too for inspection. Light aircraft have their own runway and can be seen in the air, but rarely identified, from the roof terrace. Photography is tricky, but with patience a reasonable snap can be had of most traffic, and some excellent shots of aircraft parking/on push-back from stands close in to the terminal below the roof gardens.
Apparently there are some excellent photography locations beside some of the active runways - but you only really see the action on that runway, so spread out is Amsterdam's ground plan. There must be spotters websites to find on a quick Google, with maps and details. I think most of the runway photo locations require transport to get there, they are well beyond reasonable walking distance from the terminal, although I have never tried!
