Hi all, haven't posted for a while as I've been down in Bristol all summer, but should be back in Liverpool in a couple of weeks had a couple of days in the lakes in August and thought I might put some pics up Had quality traffic making quality passes...great to see the yanks venturing up north again, this being the second time I've caught Eagles in the Lakes this year Light was pants for most of the passes, but it was still enjoyable 1 2 3 4 5 6. Awesome tonka pass....skimming the lake before pulling out right in front of me and turning towards Keswick 7 8 9 10 11 Reminds me of Jurassic Park.... 12 Tuesday.... 13 My first 617 tonka.....shame he decided to pull out....would have looked awesome from Smaith 14 I think he's seen me .mic

Top shooting Mic. You have been real lucky with your F-15 encounters, I spent four years working in Cumbria with a couple of outings each week and only had half a dozen fly in front of my lens in all that time.
Whats the hourly average working out at these days? I used to work on one movement per hour spent on the hill through Dunmail/Thirlmere and one for every two hours in the M6 Pass back in 2005/6, this rate had noticeably dropped by 2010. Tales of 30 jets a day back in the eighties we can only dream of!
Cheers
Shaun
