These latest aircraft, SO and SP, were sold to leasing company Avolon, prior to delivery and leased back. There are a total of 5 aircraft of Ryanair's deliveries that Avolon has agreed to such an arrangement. SL/M/N are the three others. This was announced on 26th September.
Seems MOL is having to change tactics to finance new deliveries.

According to Jethro's, the next three ordered 738s were to have been SS/SR/ST, but, although built, have been cancelled and are probably to go to Southwest. All three in store at Marana.

I know Ryanair have a history of `standing down`part of the fleet during the winter,4 or 5 737s were parked at BHX last year. O`Leary seems to have taken things a step farther this winter.I was at Stansted on 31/10 and a steady stream of his planes were being towed from the terminal to the 500 stands,in and around the Titan hangar and the old wfu`d TriStar. I flew out on Tuesday morning and by then the old dispersals west of the runway were full of Ryanairs. Why keep taking delivery of new fleet if you can`t use the planes you`ve got? They are ok aren`t they?..................its hard to imagine life without Ryanair!

I think the oil price is the least of MOL`s problems.Ryanair depend, almost entirely,on discretionary travel within Europe. If the Euro-zone crisis worsens to a worst case scenario with Greece/Portugal/Ireland/Italy all defaulting then mass unemployment will finish short breaks by air for a decade.The`green-lobby` may finish them for good.
Cheerful stuff heh?

With 3 aircraft lying outside the hangar @ Prestwick and others beinf delivered to the Desert for Storage before they enter service, the hard times are being felt @ Ryanair.
I also herd thay 87 aircraft were to be "laid up" this winter
