Hi all. Everyine that knows me well, knows I've been on the hunt for a USMC AV-8 that I was told was somewhere in Huyton. Well, after some detective work, I've tracked her down!!! Finally went round this morning to see "Lucy", the owner is restoring her to a RAF Harrier, and very good she looks too. She is currently in a grey scheme, and has mission marks on the port side. Had a really good chat with the owners, and they are very knowledgeable about the aircraft. The restoration is a long term thing, so they are taking their time. So if anyone has any Harrier "bits" lying around they don't need, they would be more than happy to give them a good home in "Lucy". The identity is 162730, for anyone that might want to collect it. The owners are quite happy for visitors to go round to see her, but have asked if they would go through me. Here are a couple of images, hope you like. John

If you let me know when you are thinking of going to see her, I'll let the family know, and see if they are free for you.
