Here are some photographs,of hot air balloons in Goreme Cappadocia central Turkey,A visually stunning landscape, where many cave houses have been created from the surrounding mountains, hope you enjoy. First day,a rather overcast day, with only a few balloons taking to the skies. With the dawn the next morning, came beautiful blue skies and an amazing sunrise,no less than 25 to 30 balloons took off from various points around Goreme village. The amazing rocks,or chimneys, have beencarved over the years, this area,Guzelyurt is about a hour from Goreme, and was used in one of the Star wars films as well as many others. My cave hotel in Goreme, was an attraction in its own right. A balloon gondola, being transferred back through Goreme bus station, for the next days flight from it landing site. The region of Cappadocia,is dominated by the mount Hassan dormant volcano. Nice trip to a very interesting landscape.balloon flights are about 210 euros for an hour and there are about 10 different companies operatingthem, hotel can organise any trips thanks for looking.

Excellent photos yet again, Calflier. The incredible backdrop looks more like a moonscape than landscape. Well done. Regards Beemer.
