Noted on Key Publishing forum. Mid afternoon Friday 24th February, on A562 (Widnes to Liverpool), heading towards Liverpool a red & white chunk of aeroplane - speculated at being a Jet Provost nose, heading towards Liverpool under tarpaulin wraps on a flatbed Transit.
Although the colours don't not match, first thoughts were a section of one of the aircraft that are being forced out of Hooton Park, but this was quoshed by a subsequent post.
Further posts on The Aviation Forum indicate that it was indeed a Jet Provost nose, likely one that was formerly with the Millom collection.
