seems the spitfire saga is finally moving forward according to the metro newspaper i was reading yesterday. a team of 17 and an american documentary team have been given permission to start digging ,can,t wait to see the first one fly when brought back . the lincolnshire farmer who found them just has one wish and that is to be a passenger in the back of the first to fly hope that happens for him www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-20515659

Bobby they are mk14 single seaters so not much chance of a "backy" in one ..cant wait to see the documentary of the dig and what sort of condition they are in ..hope it all comes good for him after his many years and his cash outlay looking for them....think I saw figures showing the split as 30% for him 20% for excavation experts and 50% for burmese government ..... regards Dave
