Ian, you may be surprised, but I think I have tied down the two dates for you.
Clearly two visits are displayed as Short 360 G-DASI was in Air Ecosse/Data Post red 2.83 to 9.83 and in Manx green 9.83 to 4.84. For the two dates I can confirm all the following as present:
Saturday 30th July 1983 fits for: * photo 1: HB-FBS Cherokee at Liverpool 30/7 to 5/8 (which likely puts the Cessna 172 as N9059H, Robin R1180 G-GEEP and Bell 47G as a resident Helicare G-AXKL or G-AXKN). Telair Islander G-AXXH was in that scheme from 6.82 until 3.84, but as a resident operator does not help date the photo. * photo 2: G-BDDH Friendship of BMA, in use 4/82 - 2/84 * photo 8: G-DASI SD.360 in Air Ecosse/Data Post red and G-NICE SD.330 in Genair/B.Cal colours 1/83 - 7/84. Question is did you also take a photo of HS.748 G-BEJD weekend stopping round on the Western (photos of this aircraft recognisably at Liverpool are suprising rare!)?
Saturday 24th September 1983, fits for: * photo 3: G-BMAE Friendship BMA * photo 4 & 5: N71AE Commander 690 was a regular visitor, but here on 24.9, as was Air Kilroe's gold coloured Jet Ranger G-BCWM (later resident with Helicare) * photo 6: G-BKIE Short 3-30 of Genair/B.Cal - in those colours 11/82-7/84 and G-DASI Shorts 360 newly painted in Manx green * photo 7: G-ATZU Twin Comanche visitor, G-BEIZ here 8/9 to 2/10, while Air Ecosse Data Post red Bandeirante fits as G-POST. Reckon you were there that day to view Concorde G-BOAF departing having been handled on the south airfield.
There are threads with further pictures of Helicare, Genair, Telair and KC Aviaton (G-BEIZ) in the Nostalgia section of the forum.

Hi Viscount
It doesn't suprise me at all that you worked out the dates - well done.
What does suprise and shock me is that I was 14!!!!
