Moderator removed it due to a thread that was getting far too heated etc.
Dave is reviewing it and may reinstate it in a "read only" format to stop the sniping and points scoring fraternity from getting too personal etc on it ....
We all miss it...

I must admit this forum without the LPL NEWS section, has become very uninteresting to myself, like a few other members on here we don't collect numbers, but we like to see and hear about the development of OUR airport.. Liverpool John Lennon ...
Please get the Section back up and running.. don't let the few idiots out there ruin the forum for the vast majority of normal people.

I found the news section to be about 90% ill informed speculation and baseless rumour. Most contributors seemed to think they knew more about how to run an airline/airport than the airport/airlines themselves, and god forbid if you disagreed with them.
I certainly don't miss it.

I certainly miss it and the enforced absence may/should make those who abused it think again. The temporary board presently in use is not a patch on the original. Frankly, I don't bother using it. The time has come for a re-think and, as I have said before, it is up to Dave to make the decision on when, and if, it will return. Meantime, we should just be patient.
