Welcome back to the forum Will. You've obviously not been on for a while. Whilst there hasn't been a dedicated posting for this, other such as Viscount and FoLA have brought it to our attention. Its going to be on the 19th July. For more info visit www.fola.org.uk

As there is currently nothing regarding Air Fair '09 on the (currently partially rebuilt) website www.jetstream-club.org the only announcement with any detail is the only recently posted information on www.fola.org.uk and follow the link to 'annual events'.

What brilliant sets of photos. All very interesting--it was nice too to see some shots of the balcony and recognise the old vantage points where I have spent so many perfect days. Hope this event goes from strength to strength. Does the chopper count as a movement from the old airport. LOL

"Can anybody confirm the reg of the sea hawk stripped down to bare metal" Talking to the owner of the Sea Hawk, even he does not know it.

Due to the wording of the section headings, comments on the Liverpool Aviation Fair appear (quite correctly) in no less than 3 sections of this forum! The origins of this Sea Hawk nose are covered in a post under Further Afield - Civil Aircraft, as this is the section most display reports are posted on. Also (from a different angle) the Aviation Fair 2005-2009 is covered under the Liverpool Airport History section too!
