After an early start the French are not as successful in the Olympics as they would like, and its hurts even more that Team GB are doing so well.
French TV has a very full programme of events, and its a different emphasis on what is reported. The quality of HD on French TV is stunning, far better than we get from BBC and SKY. I don't know why.
I am very impressed with the studio that French TV have set up. Its on the banks of the Thames with Tower Bridge, the river, Tall ships, in the background depending upon the shot. They keep showing great images of London, the City, the Olympic venues and make nice comments about how its all going, even the weather.
I suppose the whole thing just makes them pig sick, so they are making the best of it.
