Last years (using the Jan stats) FR winter program was run on an average of 4 based aircraft.

With apprently no bookings being able to be made in the system, could well be that Ryanair havent decided anything yet and are threatening to drop to 2 aircraft at Liverpool to get a better deal to maintain it as it is. It wouldnt be the first time they've done this whether it be in the UK or abroad. If they do go down to 2, just wonder what excuse it'll be this time, surely it cant be the passenger duty again.

Hi guys, looking at the preveous posts don't you think that the LJLA higher management started to get involved ie:get off their BUTTS !! or do yhey think its in there interest to have them reduce aircraft based here to free up ramp space for other traffic, frt. traffic maybe who knows!!.As i said once before one airline goes 50% of your business goes hope i'm wrong.

Started with a rum our.... an interesting topic on the forum but it could be self fulfilling if not careful. I am certain that the management would be active in the event of a large downturn. See on another section of the forum what is happening following the downturn at BMIbaby. I am sure, if the business is there, somebody will satisfy it.

I agree with what you say Ron but is the airport atractive enough to other airlines.

Relax - it's all unfounded speculation at the moment.

And where was the money coming from to promote these flights, Havent the Greeks got more pressing needs than to be advertising a private company that makes millions a year. Ryanair just cutting the shoulder season because it doesnt make any money.

Thomson (no p) are not showing any interest whatsoever in Liverpool. They are expanding at Leeds-Bradford though. The Thomson Summer 2013 is out and does not feature Liverpool at all.
However, you can opt for a Liverpool departure with Easyjet when booking through one of Thomson's holiday shops.

Girona, Santander and Valencia seem to be in the ryanair booking system when you press 'new search'. Does anyone know why?

Probably because no one from FR IT has bothered to take out those old destinations.

Seriously worrying stuff: I tried looking on the ryanair website at lots of destinations on the 15th december and nothing seems to be operating - not even dublin!!! I hope this isn't what I think... Hi All. I have just tried to book Dublin return on 23.12.12.and Return 27.12.12.There are 4 flights per day and I think it will let me book them as it is asking for my payment. I am not sure of my return date yet,but it all looks good to book. Alan Jones. Liverpool,U.K.
