In Liverpool departures now, travelling to Faro. Advise any passengers to definitely allow more time to allow documents to be checked .

Every little helps. Seems there is some kind of railway museum/scrapyard at Sibiu. BVA is good. CDG with EasyJet was better, so thank you Ryanair.

Just hope they stay here and don't go 30 miles down the road after the "testing period" š Well BVA and BGY are already MAN routes, so if they donāt last, MAN canāt be accused of stealing. Tallinn was originally slotted at Manchester for last winter, so one could say that route has been āstolenā in the other direction.

Anything stolen in the other direction is a welcome change. Paris and Milan have all been operating from here before for some years pre Covid, see no reason why they wouldn't do well again. We just need no more Covid surprises which knocks things back.
But its all good news.

Likely a more important consideration for Ryanair than the railway museum/scrap yard (sorry Ron), is that Sibiu is considered as a Wizzair 'focus' airport. Sibiu is a city in Southern Transylvania. Consulting "8miles27's" master list of routes served from JLA 2000-2018: derbosoft.proboards.com/thread/30101/tables-scheduled-airlines-routes-onward. I find that, to expand on "Silvercity's" comments: Ryanair previously operated the Milan/Bergamo route February 2005 to March 2012, then Blue Air March 2017 to September 2018. Ryanair previously operated the Paris/Beauvais route November 2008 to March 2009. EasyJet (amended, my mistake) previously operated the Tallinn route April 2011 to October 2012. These, new for 2021 routes are in addition to Rome previously announced. There seems to be stealthy policy change adopted by those airlines most flexible, to attract customers by offering greater choice of new destinations at a low frequency, replacing previous expansion which added more rotations to the popular (but currently suffering) sun 'hot spot' destinations. Seems to make sense in way if they want to keep aircraft in the air. Slight thread drift, but while on the topic of Ryanair, any sign of their MAX (but we don't call them that) aircraft entering service yet, as it is around a week since the first ones arrived at Dublin?

the routes are good , had a feeling Ryanair would start āParisā 50 miles away from Paris and only twice a week and Easyjet did CDG atleast 5 times a week All the others are great but that one, not convinced.
the manchester echo putting out an article about starting new routes from LPL.

Agreed that Beauvais is not Paris, CDG was much better. However Beauvais is very handy for some other nice places such as Rouen and Amiens, no doubt having a certain passenger demand in their own right, in the same way that Liverpool serves destinations not in the city.

There is also a direct coach to Disneyland Paris from Beauvais airport. I think this will be the market they are after.
Don't forget that Ryanair also operated from Liverpool to Milan Malpensa until the Covid outbreak.
It was easyJet who operated from Liverpool to Tallinn. I don't think Ryanair ever operated that route.
Tallinn is a great place. There is an artillery tower museum in the old town called "Kik in der Kok."
