Be great if the airport can find any way to boost the passenger numbers from early November to late march when the airport is at its quietest. On our side (easyJet) there can be days were we only have 5 departures all day it’s so boring.

Averaging 2 extra flights per week day, great news,so the earlier post about Ryanair recruiting for Lpl based crew must be correct, let us hope they continue this expansion through to summer 23,does this mean 4 based aircraft. Thank you 8 miles for the set of figures, much appreciated.

Ryanair will not start services to Las Palmas from the end of October. The route has been cancelled.
The Sibiu route will be cancelled from the end of October.

Sibiu is performing very well so that’s strange !!’ I feel like it’s going to be a worrying upcoming season. Easyjet Wizz and ryanair are all making cuts but still not adding anything. Not looking good for Liverpool tbh

Not looking good for Liverpool tbh Cardiff just had a blow from Wizz Air , they are removing their based aircraft until next summer.

Michael O'Leary has said that the low cost era has now come to an end in a press statement apparently. BBC News - Ryanair boss O'Leary says the era of €10 flights is over www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-62495846

I think (hope) its a bit too early to say its "not looking good" for Liverpool at this stage. The average load factor on most routes is pretty good, and Sibiu and Las Palmas from my reading is only 3 flights per week. I think its a case of time will tell. It does seem reasonable however to assume that many people will not be able to afford to travel as frequently as inflation bites.

When ever I check anything on the computer at work ( in Liverpool ) on the FR website, the departure airport comes up as a default " Manchester " which is rather irritating, being not the closest airport and not where I would be searching from.

Next summer looks to be at least the same as this year for both FR and EZY.
EZY may well reveal a surprise.
