Nope not him, think it could have been said soon after moving to the south side,it seemed to porter cabin after porter cabin.Think it all started with the big departure lounges on the east side of the old terminal, when the move took place it was porter cabin assembly for the loading staff, one for the people doing the refuelling, one for "Cheshire Air Training School" and more after that, enough of them, more permanent developments please.

It will be used by Jet2 related apron staff, nothing to do with passengers.
Its placed there, for now, as its in a quiet spot but is also near to the apron.

My point was the porter cabins in general, very quick accommodation for passengers and staff only for a short period of time not x amount of years.

Actually they (PortaKabins) have a design life of 30 years if properly maintained…

Cp1 on the fuel farm road is two portakabins split and joined and that must coming up to 20years old now. Funny little story to go with the handover of Cp1 but thats for another time.

Hopefully this link works - interesting video from The Guide Liverpool talking to a number of key staff at the airport regarding plans for Summer 2024. One thing mentioned I hadn’t previously picked up is that they are relocating the Aspire Lounge into a bigger space. Also John Irving estimating an additional 600k passengers this year. www.facebook.com/share/r/4tjkksKTdtcEPVWg/?mibextid=WC7FNe

Driving along Hale Road over the last couple of days I noticed that work seems to have started on ground preparations for the new solar farm.

Stands 3,4,5 and 6 are being closed for around 8 weeks wef 25/2. These are the ones opposite the prefabricated gates used by Ryanair and Wizzair and down to the old Royal Mail sorting office. Anybody know what works are being undertaken?

What a time to start the work, surely it should have been started at the start of February. Apart from that it's about time that"tube!"was inergreated into the terminal building, has anyone seen any plans or drawings of the finished product but it has to be better than it is now.

The tube as you call it Vanguard is truly horrendous. Apart from the rain gettin in it’s the grass and weeds ( last time I walked in it) coming in round the bottom. Terrible first introduction to Liverpool.
