EZY have now cancelled the TFS-LPL flight on 14 November. What was supposed to have been a short stress free break is now turning into a longer one full of stress. So i'm now returning the next day on RYR. As I was trying to be supportive to Ezy in getting vouchers, I'm just getting my cash straight back from now on. I did think this canx strange as surely there will be more pax to the Canary Islands now with the lack of requirement to lock down on return, although I suppose it's irrelevant in the North West at the moment.

On one of the Canary Islands websites today, easyJet are quoted as increasing flights from the UK to the Canaries, including from Liverpool. Like you, easyJet have cancelled my flights to Lanzarote on 12th November so I have used my existing Ryanair vouchers to fly with them on 14th. It's a bit of a juggling act using vouchers but at least they are valid for 12 months.

EZY have now cancelled the TFS-LPL flight on 14 November. This flight is still fully bookable in the easyJet app?

Be that as it may, I have received an Email from them at 1705 on Friday 23rd October that Flight EZY 7170 on the 14 November had been cancelled. I have since submitted my claim form for a refund and I am using RYR the next day. I think I'll put my trust in what they have told me.

Harbourcotter,
That's fine I was only trying to help, or at least clarify the situation given the flights are still on sale.

Tuesday is always a bit of a slow day but easyJet have just two departures tomorrow (Belfast and the final Dalaman) something unheard of since Amsterdam and Nice started in 97. But if you think that's bad just take a look at Luton tomorrow and two things stand out - the lack of easyJet and the amount of Wizz Air.

vctr - apologies for my response. It was a bad weekend coupled with farting around with flights/hotels/transport etc and I took it the wrong way. I failed my own advice of thinking before posting

I received an email this morning from Easyjet stating my flight from Lanzarote to LPL on November 29th had been cancelled. I booked the flight when they first released them early in the year and it cost 49 euros per person. Clever move I thought. It seems strange that the EZ website is still advertising the flight at 136.99 euros.

I would have thought they might have got bit of a rush on Canary Island bookings with the quarantine requirement being removed.

Well there you have it. Look out to see if this flight actually operates and if so you can be certain that the airline has sold your flight to somebody else at higher price. If so, that's a trend I do no not like and worthy of greater promulgation. Lets hope its just a mistake on somebody's part

Nothing from easyJet would surprise at the moment.
I had a flight cancelled yesterday, from Malaga to Gatwick on 19 November. No usefull alternative , as route in November and early December is down to two return trips per WEEK.
Just checked Malaga to LPL for November/December. Just TWO flights 7 November and 29 December. Malaga to MAN has a flight every Sunday in November and December plus 6 November and 18 and 29 December.
