Your lists are informative and I'm not disagreeing with you (although there is no mention of which day it operates), however like the earlier posters, I had booked when there were 2 flights a week and I was only notified today of the cancellation of the Wednesday flight, only 4 weeks prior to departure. If you knew of the cancellation earlier, then obviously easyjet had already planned the reduction and should have informed us a little earlier. The difficulty I have is that I was booked on a Wednesday to Saturday flight. I now would have to take a holiday of 7 days, which creates a lot of issues, not least additional hotel cost etc or else cancel the flight. Noticeably, they have not cancelled my Saturday return flight as it still operates and they have not offered me a refund or voucher for that leg. So I see a lot of telephone calls and hassle ahead if I do cancel.

You can change your departure airport. So if there's a flight from elsewhere that might be an option. Alternatively there's an easyjet Manchester departure on Tuesdays or Ryanair on Wednesdays from Manchester

I think your right about the hassle factor, I had a number of flights cancelled earlier this year, you can not get through to speak to a real person. With easyjet the best I could do is email ( and you need the correct address or nothing happens ) then wait for a reply, this takes weeks. With Ryanair, I found their web chat the best way to get a real person. The thing is you have to search to find these avenues, they are not obvious displayed on either site.

It took a relative 8 minutes to get an issue dealt with on the phone with easyjet this week. That was the total call time. They called the standard call centre number.
I have got flight club, which is nowadays alot quicker than at the start of the pandemic - pretty much immediate answering of calls

Well if that's the case that's an enormous improvement, good. I've not needed to call them of late as everything eventually was dealt with during the last national lock down period but at the time it was extremely frustrating.

Thanks for the replies, It looks like that I will unfortunately have to cancel. I don't use MAN and for a few days its not worth going to another airport. I'm getting quite a collection of EZY vouchers now. LFC84 could you please let me know what flight club is? it sounds preferable to get through to them.

Same thread but not strictly EasyJet. Ryanair have canx our Vienna flights , asked via email vouchers valid for 12 months or refund . Elected for refund, they said will be back with you in 5-7 days. Amazingly it is so full marks to Ryanair , no hassle at all.

While I cannot contact edreams by PC or telephone since they informed me three weeks ago of a cancellation of an Air Malta booking. I subsequently had to cancel an accommodation booking with ebookers. This booking was made by me fully understanding that it was non-refundable. To my surprise, within 7 days I had the majority of my money refunded, it being only the initial deposit, not subsequent payments that were non-refundable. So full marks to ebookers, as for edreams, dream-on, they won't be getting my business again!

Just in case it is on benefit to anyone else, I mentioned previously that my EZY flight on 11th Nov to Tenerife had been canx. I have now booked an alternative O/B LPL - Lanzarote - Tenerife on the 10th Nov with Ryanair and Binter Canarias, unbelievably for the same low cost and I get to use an airline I've never used before. it takes me a little longer but I've booked a day earlier. All in all a nice alternative.
