Tried to look at the Funchal holidays yesterday but despite selecting Funchal it showed me flights to Faro.

It's a bit irritating when Easyjet could pick a multitude of routes unnerved including previous populars they operated like Lisbon and Venice. Easyjet clearly pivoting towards Holidays, Funchal offers a greater potential upside in this regard as opposed to VCE/LIS as much as we would like to see them back. Maybe , not convinced myself. I would think its more about hounding Jet2.

easyJet has added a third weekly Marrakech flight, operating on a Monday, from 9th to 30th December.
Extra frequencies have also been added on the Prague service during November and December, operating every Tuesday from 10th to 31st December, plus Thursday flights from 21st November to 12th December.

Reading ametyst post above re extra frequencies from EZY. As I have said many times, isn’t a bit of competition (jet2) wonderful.

easyJet are launching more Summer 2025 seats next Tuesday, bookable until 30th September 2025.
It will be interesting to see if any of the recently añnounced routes extend into the summer season.

EasyJet have put the summer seats on sale and none of the new routes are contuined into summer. So far anyway I don’t think all of the Liverpool flights have been released. Only Thursday and Fridays in July have seven first wave departures (6 on the other days) so more to come, I would say.

There appears to be fewer Isle of Man flights next summer. So will either be added later or no longer operating

They always release a carbon copy of last years schedule first, then a further release of anything new.
I’m sure quite a few of the new routes will continue, Berlin, Malta, Sharm-el-sheikh, Fuereventura all to name a few which only started in Feb. Fingers crossed for Oslo and Marrakesh too. Still endlessly hoping for Lisbon to return too

Looking at September on the shorter routes, I note the following comparisons:-
Belfast City - 5 per week (Sep 25), 5 per week (Sep 24). I thought this was twice daily at some stage!
Belfast International - 27 per week (Sep 25), 34 per week (Sep24) - Down 7 a week
Isle of Man - 4 per week (Sep25), 9 per week (Sep 24) - Down 5 a week
Jersey - 7 per week (Sep 25), 12 per week (Sep 24) - Down 5 a week
railway boy, don't forget Londonderry and Prague too!

All the routes noted by Ametyst have much weaker than average load factors, so no surprise to see trimming of frequencies.

Belfast International has no early departures loaded yet on a number of days; if we get an 8th aircraft that will operate a number of shorter rotations too. Wait until the full schedule is released before judging the situation.
