Great shots, Fuji 's always been totally shrouded in cloud when we've been close or flown over!

Very nice pictures of Mt. Fuji, glad the weather gods cooperated. My eldest son just returned from a two month trip to Japan, where he spent over a month in the Minami Alps, just to the west of Mt. Fuji. He woke up to similar views from a distance of about 15 miles. I spent a week or so travelling with him, including two days in a resort area called Kawaguchiko. This was just to the south of Mt. Fuji, with picture perfect views of the mountain. I had never been this close before, so was really looking forward to it. However, the whole time, it was solid clouds with such a low ceiling that you couldn't even see the foothills, let alone the mountain.
