Still ploughing through thousands of negatives and stumbled across this. Can any light be shed on this? Attachments:

That was an impressively fast link Dave!! Mark, there was discussion regarding this very Hampden photo on another forum as recently as last July, with comments on the photographer, pilot and even the steam engine type! Certainly a good result for you on this one. forum.keypublishing.co.uk/showthread.php?t=118126The single Hastings is clearly TG503 a Hastings T.5 (the under fuselage raydome is just visible) with the BCBS (Bomber Command Bombing School) badge on the tail in the diamond. Co-incidently, in the past week I have posted a photo of the very same aircraft on a thread (Handley Page Photographs) on this section of nwan forum!! www.derbosoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=furtherafield&action=display&thread=10391As one photo has crowd barriers evident and the other doesn't, I suspect the two photos are in different locations, although in a similar time frame. In your shot the Gnat T.1 is in day-glo markings which puts it mid 60s, well certainly later than 1962. Not impossibly Farnborough, but also quite likely a RAF Station At Home. Not sure when the BCBS/SCBS was first based at Lindhome. The other Hastings shot is earlier, as the use of three letter aircraft codes had ended before the 60s. TG531 being JAN and WD338 GAC, both clearly with RAF Transport Command titling. Clues as to the where are pretty limited. Nice shots, but why don't you post via Photobucket (or similar) hosting site? However posted, I'm looking forward to more!
