Hi everyone,
I wanted to research LPL movements data for dates prior to those covered by the current 71 pages on the forum (pre-2009).
Is any older information held somewhere on this site which I may have overlooked?
Failing that, can anyone please remember when NWAN magazine was last produced?
Thanks for any info,Keith

Hi Keith,
Unfortunately the host of the previous nwan forum ceased to be and Paul Derbyshire was kind enough to set this current one up for me. All data was list from the old xsorbit forum.
I started producing lpl reviews online from july 2006 after the nwan mag ceased to be in jun 06. All the online reviews I have done aree still available on the main nwan website.
Ps sorry for spelling...using my little phone to reply!
Dave

Habu, In you question, I think you mean mid 2006, not 2009, as the earliest monthly visitor logs available on the net. However to answer your question: Phil Butler's log books of daily visitor movements commence in the mid 50s and run through to 1978, by which time they were compiled by Tony Williams. I currently am current custodian of the logs 1960-78, with a view to shortly starting to transcribe these onto the net. A summary of the airport visiting aircraft logs appeared in MGAE/MSAE/MAS Flypast mid 1956 - mid 1985. I have folders with the visiting aircraft and mail flights in detail, including times, plus resident activity and regular airliner regns, Jan 1979-Dec 1986, the 'raw' information for that appearing in 'EGGP' magazine of MAS 1979-1986. All visiting movements with times, plus summary of regular airline, mail and freight Jan 1986-May 2006 in the paper NWAN. Magazines 1985-1997 in A4 corner stapled format, 1998-Jun 2006 A5 booklet format. All visiting movements, plus general comments on airline, mail and freight activity June 2006 to date, recorded and accessible on www.nwan.co.uk That represents some 55 years of unbroken coverage of Liverpool Airport activity.

Thanks Dave and Brian. I found what I was searching for! The Skyservice Learjet I failed to see at LPL in January 2007 was indeed C-FPRP. What I had not realised until now was that it stayed in from the 24th to the 26th. So it took me three days to miss it. Just as well it came back!
