After a truly great days flying at southport on Saturday and afterhearing many aircraft being handed back to Woodvale after the show i drove past along the bypass and saw the following. (im cycling up today to get some pictures) As of 7pm last night there were from what i could see quickly was Lancaster (surprised me as i was lead to believe it was off to Blackpool!) P-51 Blades Wingwalker Black cats lynxs Army aircorp lynx I believe i briefly saw the meteor Red 10's esquirelle And a couple of the bi-planes that landed on the beach!

Did you see the Lancaster, refuelling ? She looked fantastic, sitting near the fence, being refuelled. The scence looked like the 1940's.

To ac2348's list add the Hangar 11's Spitfire PR.11. Certainly one of biplanes off the beach was the red and silver Hornet Moth. The two Jungmann's are both based at Sleap, but where they departed the beach for, I don't know. Most of the micros live at Ince, the Chipmunk at Liverpool, while the Luscombe and Auster are now based on a NW strip (formerly Barton residents).
The Southport commentator did give the display slot time of the Vulcan for the Sunday - however I didn't take much notice, but it was later afternoon. On 'Aviation cafe's' website the time is given as 1625, but don't quote me as much of the programme on the Saturday ran in a different order to his listing. The Tornados close the display circa 1640 as they did on the Saturday.

Captainkevey 121.175 is the display freq and to doorgunner it was such a majestic sight!
