Thanks Mic. for showing these brilliant photo's. You almost feel as though you are there, with the look of determination on those Riders faces. I love the sense of speed and action.

Cheers, I really enjoyed the experience even if it was only for 10 seconds. I'm tempted to head up to Blackpool tomorrow to watch it again .mic PS John, Yes you should have!

Would be interested to know the location of these shots. Too long ago to say, I had a paper round in Huyton, but did not recognise anywhere. These races are a great spectacle, but unfortunaely only for a few seconds. You stand all day to see the Tour de France, only to see the riders go past in one quick "Whoosh" accompanide by "Allez" and then its gone.
