No idea why but a first choice 767 just landed on 27 It looks like there was a problem with UA20 Reg: N29129, it was on approach and performed a go-around. G-OOBL was right behind it when on approach at Manchester, but out of 7 aircraft holding this was the only aircraft that diverted to LPL !!!

I think it may have been weather, as US734 also diverted, to BHX.

Hawk T2 @ 16:05hrs on the ILS for r/w 27. ID would be appreciated. Thanks. Regards Beemer. Hi Brian. I have seen a Hawk four times today doing ILS approaches for 27. Times where 11:00 / 11:13am over Castlefields and 15:20 / 15:35 over The Brow, it could be the same one training. You never know it might come around again. Mike

Thanks for ID of the 1605 T2, did one depart prior to this one crossing Wallasey inbound maybe 30 mins or so before ? I was leaving Morrisons at New Brighton and heard something military loudly leaving the Mersey heading West, couldn`t see anything though.

Did the Beluga land or was it just circling whilst waiting for a favorable wind at Hawarden?
