FR24 is showing todays EK17 service as A380 A6-EDW, currently over Romania.
Airport's arrival board is showing due 1246hrs.

Hi JJ,
Yes,this is the first visit of A6-EDW. Unfortunately the splendid "due in" lists from Manchesterspotters2 show little else to inspire the 60-mile round trip today.
With the QTR045 apparently back to regular A330s (A7-AFL expected today) and the evening Emirates flight EK/UAE19 changing from B77W A6-EGW to the less interesting A6-EGG,a day off may be in order unless a lunchtime scan of Libhomeradar reveals a gap-filler on the THY7KZ.
Update...the Turkish is TC-JGG...Zzzzzzzz..........

Habu, On a clear day can see aircraft landing MCR from my back door. Saw A6-EDW decending on approach into MCR -Clear as a bell - thus saving a trip. ;D Oh by the way, GC thanks for the heads up re the Emirates. Happy Days Bob
