The football supporters from Stavanger, who arrived on an Eastern Airways EMB-145 on Friday are due to depart:
T3 1734 ETD 1800 EZE1734 ETD 1900
Certainly the same charter, srongly suspect the 1800 is GNT (zulu), the 1900 hours is BST (local).
At 1400 suspect LPL is still on 09.

Sorry about the quality, my camera isn't great, and on the photos above, I was holding the camera about 8 to 12 inches above my 6 foot 5 inch body, through the 'chainlink' fence around the GA area....

No need to be so defensive regarding your photos, Clifftop
Fact is no one else was down on a Sunday. No one else came up with an answer to G-PHIL's question. No one else seems to have seen the Queen Air and with a camera other than you.
So well done!

Thanks Brian, I think I get a bit deflated when I get rejected from one or more of the Aircraft Photo websites on the internet, usually with a message about poor quality, they are only ever about the same as I put on here.... elitism on their part?? Maybe.

Having looked at Clifftop's photo, thought I would play around on Google and find out which early (1960) straight-tail Queen Air 65 N911CS was, and then see if it had been to Liverpool before.
Find that it has been to Liverpool before, in 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976 and 1977! Not as a European civil executive aircraft as I expected, but with the US Army as 05387 (60-5387) flying communication flights presumably with 56th Avn Coy with personnel for Burtonwood. At that time it was a Beech U-8F Seminole. My own log books for the period record I saw it at Speke 4.11.73, 17.1.74, 23.3.76, 13.2.77 at least. A look through PHB's visiting aircraft records would find a great many more visits I'm sure.
Bit of an unexpected connection with the past, at a time when executive and military twins were much more numerous and varied than today.

Just come back from seeing a close friend down in Cardiff. Have been reliably informed that the Queen Air flew from Cardiff to Liverpool with a certain Liverpool comedian on board to watch the football, Everton I think. Heard the thing take off this morning from Cardiff, departing back to its base. Sounded fantastic!

I'm going to have to admit a very amateur mistake... as the Queen Air took off from 09, she flew low the full length of the runway, I would like to think the pilot did this to present a photo opportunity, perhaps having seen me by the GA... Trouble is, I had wandered away from my car where my camera rested out of the rain. I foolishly assumed the aircraft would have become airborne quite quicky and climbed into the low cloud that was around at the time.... How annoyed was I...? Rather....
