Does anyone know where I can get hold of a 240v mains power lead for an AOR AR-2002 ? AOR themselves are asking the earth for a couple of metres of plastic so if anyone knows a cheaper alternative .... ?

yes - its a triangular 3 pin arrangement - kettle type - Have managed to lose the whole cable - so cant splice it or do a temp botch job lol Beemer - will check your link-fingers crossed - AOR originally quoted me £30ish for a replacement, but judging by the 2002's age -for £30 I could probably get another 2002 and mains cable for that price from ebay - but the search goes on. Thanks Mooneyncp for your input to - much appreciated.

It's not your regular 240v supply, the three Pin plug is square with max 12-14 v input. The cable has a power regulator on it, if you scroll down to Section 5 'Rear Control Panel' you can see what it looks like. www.rigpix.com/aor/aor_ar2002.htm (Click on User Manual .) Here is a photo of what the cable looks like without the Power Regulator. www.universal-radio.com/catalog/widerxvr/4560cord.htmlSpoke to Waters & Stanton on the phone and they said spares for the AR-2002 have been discontiued.

klm, thanks for the link - think I will probably phone them on monday, if they dont hold them in stock they may be able to put one together for me. speedbird - your quite right - the plug fitting is sqaure, and the pins are arranged in a triangular fashion , down to 12v dc.
The search continues !
