Hi everyone,
I used the M62/M6 this afternoon specifically to avoid getting stuck in bridge queues on the Widnes side.
Having decided to take a chance at a quiet time of the evening,I drove back across the bridge from Runcorn at about 9.30pm.
To my very pleasant surprise there were NO roadworks or lane closures at all.
How long has it been like this? Is a fully open bridge normal at weekends and in the evening now?
Any updates on this situation would be appreciated.
Cheers,Keith

That's unusual Keith. I drove across yesterday @ 08:00hrs towards LPL and it was down to two lanes with the slip road from the ICI/Ineos direction closed and traffic was busy but moving OK. Returned across it at about 14:00hrs, and very busy with long queues so used the rat run from Watkinson Way to avoid it but still down to two lanes. Regards Beemer.

Keith it would look like there has been no overnight lane closures but I have just checked and the lane restrictions are back in place as of 07:30hrs. Regards Beemer.
