From MEN today:
British Airways is axeing its flights between Manchester and Gatwick.
The services will be suspended from March 31.
BA currently operates up to three flights a day to the London gateway.
Customers who have booked direct or connecting flights to Gatwick from Manchester on ba.com will receive an email within two weeks advising them of their options.

Never can second guess my employers. Why re start Leeds and then drop Lgw, crazy. Only thought that comes to mind is the route has been given away to Fly Be, time will tell.
