I found this photo of mine taken at Runcorn of YL-LBT Yak 42D landing r/w 27 01-08-2005 @ 10:30hrs. I didn't know I had it and was wandering what it was doing at Liverpool. There could be a possibility it was 2004 not 2005 as I think my camera date year was wrong. Any ideas any one. Thanks for that Mike. Silly me not looking there and the camera date was right as well. We don't see too many Yaks on the ILS these days, mores the pity. Regards Beemer.

Hi Brian
I was there that day the Yak brought in FC Kaunas from Lithuania
Also on the apron that day were 2 Twin Otter's N94AR and N512AR.
A very good day ;D

I`m surprised that this turns out to be the one-and-only visit of a Y42 to Liverpool.I was on holiday in Lincolnshire at the time and decided to make the 250 mile round trip overnight to see it. It would normally be a couple of miles on the bike from Garston! Still glad I made the effort.
