Wasnt sure if this is the place to post this but it is a hobby lol I'm wondering if any of you lovely forum fans have any ideas on r/c nitro a/c as I recently bought a Kyosho Edge 540 Kirby Chambliss edition. It's got a wing span of about 5ft an fuse length of about 4ft. But I don't know what the best engine would be need some help guys. If anyone has a clue or has any spares I could buy for rather cheap(just until I may e get cash for a better one) give me a pm please. This is the one www.elitemodelsonline.co.uk/10337-/Kyosho-Edge-540-Red-Bull-Air-Race-Series-Kirby-Chambliss-GPCambo

This may seem a stupid reply, but here goes. I presume you have some experience with this sort of RC model flying ? If not, maybe the question on which suitable engine you could use would be better directed to a member of a local RC flying club or even speaking to the guys who run Formby Models.

Biggles. I do have a little bit of knowledge from flying my trainer. But that was a slower engine. See there are just to many diff engines, 2stroke an 4stroke. But thanks for your rreply. I was waiting for a message from a guy up there but he hasn't got back to me in a few weeks so thought about the guys on here CambO

No problem, my son used to race in RC car clubs and in those the difference was unbelievable when going up to faster engines with vastly more performance. Good Luck.
