Thanks Bob, it is actually my daughters Xmas tree taken on my phone and uploaded to Photobucket, Picassa added the text. I was looking at the new Samsung Compact camera today which as able to connect via Wi Fi to the net, you can download apps directly to the camera, it also automatically backs up any picture taken as soon as it connects to your PC or Lap top. and far from lastly there is an App that turns your mobile phone into a vewifinder for the camera to allow remote pictures to be set up and taken.
Amazing little thing £399. Not sure if Father Xmas knows I could do with one. LOL

I'm not a regular contributor, but I am a very regular visitor.
I just wanted to express my admiration to all of the contributors, the moderators, and of course FOLA for your unstinting support of LJLA.
You all keep this site invigorated and a pleasure to view. Thank you.
Have a very happy and blessed Christmas, and the hope that for you all, 2013 is kind to you.
Regards.

Hi all
Simple message I have had a truly bad year. I hope for a good Xmas and really wish the same to everyone. Ambition is to spend more time on the mound and less time in work, would love to meet some of the regular contributors so that is my plan for next year.
Happy Xmas everyone and good new year

Sorry, no fancy card or witty picture from me unfortunately, I've been under considerable pressure these last few days, despite good intentions.
Best wishes to all guests, members and especially to the 'life-blood' of this forum, the contributors, regular and occasional. What an incredibly wide variety of subjects and places covered this last year - a Tupolev 154 in LJLA, near daily reports and picture posts from both Liverpool and Manchester Airports, regular reports from a previously undereported IoM; air display, domestic, European and worldwide road trip reports; nostalgia and memories; regular contributions from Chambray, Kamloops and Chez Ron ... and those amazing images of North Korea ........
Here's looking forward to road trips, air displays in sunshine (what a rare thing summer '12), and varied exciting visitors to our 'home region' airports during 2013.
Have a great Christmas and lets make 2013 an even better one on the forum.
Brian.
