Can anyone offer some sound advice here please regarding a cancelled flight. I've booked through an online agent to fly from Manchester to Bali with Etihad. It involves 3 flights both ways. Manchester - Abu Dhabi - Jakarta - Bali and the return flight Bali - Kuala Lumpur - Abu Dhabi - Manchester. I went on the Etihad site and checked the flights and noticed to flight from Bali to Kuala Lumpur has been cancelled. I rang Etihad aand they told me to speak to the agent I booked with. I rang Travelup last night but couldn't speak to anyone that made much sense to me and they kept putting me through to an answer phone so I'd hang up and ring again only to get through to a different person and have to go through my details all over again. I must have done this 10 times before I gave up. I'll try again on monday but in the mean time do the agent have to find me another flight ?

Cheers Bob. Yes I checked on the Etihad site and noticed this flight missing from my itenary. I've got the E-Ticket receipt printed out and the flight is on there operated by Malaysia Airlines. When I rang Etihad they told me that flight had been cancelled and to speak to my agent about it because I hadn't booked through Etihad themselves. Good job I noticed yesterday but I don't fly from Manchester until 17th April and leave Bali on the 3rd May. I'll try to get some sense out of my agent on Monday. I'm meeting family there who are flying from Perth, Western Australia and everything is organised and paid for now. It's never happened to me before and I don't want to be let down now. Thanks again

Thanks Speedbird I'll check with them tomorrow (Monday) and try to clear things up. I feel stupid now because I should have done all the checking up on them first. To be honest though a lot of the bad reviews are about their online prices not being available when you call. I found that too but it's also happened to me with other booking agents in the past. I should have gone to STA on Bold Street because then I could have gone in to see them instead of talking to people on a phone who can't speak English very well. Own fault but thanks foor your reply Speedbird. Woody
