Apologies if i've got any of the makes wrong A truly great day out, I'll definately go again next year. the helicopter numbers were well down on what was advertised. but, I can't fault the awsome collection of cars Ian

Great cars--would not like to have to insure any one of them. Nice to see such a wide range of excellent photos on the forum.

thanks for posting the cars ian, defo a blast from the past. i grew up watching most of the sports and rally cars race. must drag the wife along next year. ian.

Great selection of cars,and very well captured.Have you any further info on the Napier aero engine--No.of cylinders,capacity,engine name etc. From the photo it appears to be a 12 cyl.job-but, I could be mistaken.

Sorry I've no other info. on the car, apart from it sounded amazing - especially the back firing. When I looked at it closer it certainly wasn't in showroom condition and it looked all the better for it - it was certainly well used. As soon as as the driver got back to the paddock the first thing he did was remove his helmet and put on his bowler hat - a great English eccentric!
