Spent an unsuccessful day in the Lakes on Tuesday in my quest to tog a snowy tornado. Unfortunately it was not to be, but the view was rather spectacular! Worth the journey and climb even if there weren't any jets.... 1 2 3 .mic

Nice pics,makes me long for home(not)currently I am in Galle Sri Lanka where the temperature is 33c, and sunny,dont want to make you jealous or anything,but then agin theres no snow here,so you cant have everything!

Such dedication and what a reward for your trouble. Great photos. I do not miss much about the UK, but these kind of images pull at the heart strings a bit. We had such wonderful times in that beautiful part of the world.

beautiful atmospheric shots--makes me want to get out in the mountains with my camera--well done that man.
Hey its -12° outside so it will have to wait LOL--no where as beautiful as the English Lakes. And lovely village pubs with real ale--nostalgic or what. Super camera work I am envious of skill like that.
